INCLUSIVE AND
EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

INTRODUCTION

We very often come across situations where there is discrimination rooted in unconscious biases.

These biases, stemming from internalised presumptions and attitudes, often hinder effective and inclusive communication between teams.

In the business world, in addition to gender discrimination, other biases can be observed in communication, including a tendency to give greater credibility to certain people’s opinions and a lack of awareness of how language affects inclusivity for all employees.

These additional biases include age, ethnic or cultural background, accent or dialect, physical appearance and socioeconomic status.

Such limited perceptions can restrict fair participation and effective collaboration in the workplace.

GOALS

The goal is for participants to become aware of their unconscious biases through role-playing activities and, as a result of this personal awareness, feel motivated to overcome them and apply the tools provided by the instructor.

Participants will also understand the benefits of being aware of biases and adopting tools for personal and professional growth, as well as for corporate development.
